Series Description: Communication is the basis of all productive, satisfying relationships. Whether personal or professional, knowing how to connect with another person deepens the connection, instills trust, and allows you to express ideas in ways that help you engage, gain support, and earn the respect of others. These days, as we rely more on digital methods to connect with others, communication skills are doubly important. Timing, clarity, and understanding the desired goals are the keys to communication success - but knowing how to listen is just as critical. This three-part virtual series is designed to help you become a better communicator and listener. We’ll explore communication in all its facets, and when we’re done, you’ll be more effective, confident, comfortable, and natural in your digital and in-person exchanges. Whether you want to learn how to make a stellar first impression, fit in with any social group, understand your relationships better, or optimize your work presentations, this series will help you overcome communication barriers and gain the support of the people you interact with daily.

How Long is each class?

Virtual classes are 60 minutes and in-person classes are up to 2 hours, which gives everyone in the group enough time to share their perspective and ask questions. Sometimes a conversation is so engaging, we go over time to keep it going!

How big is each class?

In-person classes are capped at 15-20 people. Zoom classes are capped at 15/group to ensure maximum participation by the entire group.

What are the rules for each class?

Participation is fruitful, respect and confidentiality are mandatory. We discourage anyone from jumping in and out of a class or series, as it interrupts the bond we forge in every group. We also ask that participants refrain from business networking unless that is the topic at hand.
